It was Holly’s idea to start The Pantry – inspired by her experience of trying to find a family friendly place for a proper coffee and a bite to eat during maternity leave. Becoming a mum didn’t change her tastebuds and make soft play centres irresistible, so she figured there must be other folks looking for a great no-compromise place to hang out. So she made one.

We’d be lying if we said Steven hadn’t always wanted to open a place of his own – so much so that he made a bar in the back garden. Holly’s place is much nicer truth be told, and fits more people in. Steven helps out behind the scenes and takes point on our music events and socials. He’s also our coffee geek and chief Googler when running a cafe gets confusing.

Proof, if ever it were needed, that truly great things come in small packages – our Chlo isn’t one to be underestimated. A barista trained foodie, she’s the mastermind behind our seasonal specials and the only one of us who can actually do proper latte art. When not slinging coffee, you’ll find her chronicling her suppers, watching UFC or diving with sharks (we’re serious).

Sara takes point on our events programme and makes the best coffee. She’s a business owner in her own right, heading up @palletandpod a bespoke events company. We love Sara and she’s bringing a cool head and bags of barista experience to our little cafe in Leyland. Keep your eyes peeled for Sara’s stellar events calendar – not to be missed.

The best thing that ever happened to The Pantry, Millie joined us for some Saturday hours and never looked back. The best support our team could ask for, Millie throws herself into making every visit to the cafe the best it can be. You’ll see her effortlessly swanning around, but don’t be fooled - she’ll be doing three things at once whilst also keeping an eye on her cupcakes in the oven.
